At Krossing Paths, we believe that every student, irrespective of their background, deserves the opportunity to thrive in this rapidly changing modern world. Our mission is to empower underprivileged middle and high school students by providing them with the technology resources, skills, and mentorship they need to succeed in today’s tech-driven landscape.
Great Apptitude Puts You At The Forefront
Equipping middle school and high school students with the necessary tech tools and resources ensures that their future is bright. Those students are then in a position to achieve and receive training that will enhance their educational experience and prepare them for the ever-changing landscape of technology while making the most out of the donated computers.
Application Submission
Students that are interested in applying to receive the tech resources will fill out the short form(s) on this website and provide personal info, academic achievements, and a small essay expressing why they think they are a good fit to receive the tech resources. The essay is a required minimum of one page, but no more than 3 pages in length.
Assessment & Interview
Student's info submission along with the essay are evaluated for consideration of program selection. Those selected attend a virtual interview as a secondary screening to share what their academic plans are for the future and use with the technology will be.
Approval & Agreement
After a virtual meet up, the student will sign acceptance agreement along with their parent(s)/ guardian covering the terms of the donation.
Handover
Computer training may be requested in the event of unfamiliarity with equipment. Additional computer accessories (i.e. mouse, keyboard, etc) may be provided if needed.
